Assessment:
When being evaluated by a physical therapist, they will ask you to perform objective movements to observe and scale your condition. Mrs. Boone Asks her to do independent movements with both her uninjured and injured leg and rates the mobility on a 5 pt. scale. The initial focus of Mrs. Boones treatment is to regain the range of motion in the leg. After she performs objective leg motions.
Patient:
For our trauma week patient, Mrs. Boone then begins to look at the isolated wound itself. She will measure the mobility range of the patients joints and compare them. She is attempting to prevent any blood clots from performing. It is essential to continue to check and maintain the petal pulse throughout the recovery journey. At this point in time, Mrs. Boone discovers disturbance in the patella, she can assume that their is a injury in the ACL. With signs of disturbance, she will begin to give her treatment as if she had an ACL tear. The patient will begin to use crutches to take pressure off the foot.
