Mr. Edmondson + Kat Edmondson
Mr. Edmondson works at Spring Hill Hospital as a PA in the E.R. My biomedical Sciences Class had the opportunity to host him and his daughter, Kat, to teach us how to correctly suture deep cuts. We were able to simulate semi-realistic scenarios with a medical skin pad. This skin pad was able to mimic the epidermis layer that would be consistent with that of a real human. Although there was disregard for the blood, sanitization, and time aspects, it was an extremely beneficial and educational lab.
