Nutrient's role in childhood obesity

Meat is essential to human life and strength. Meat provides us with molecules that we cannot provide ourselves with. Meat provides us with iron, as well as some other foods. However, iron from meat is much easier for your digestive track to break down and uses less energy. Eating an excessive amount of processed meat can be harmful to your health by a large amount.


39 million children under the age of five was obese. 340 children between 5-19 are 340 million. and 20+ were 1.9 billion. some factors that contribute to childhood obesity are genetics. Poverty is also another factor because of lack of food sources and inability of exercise. physiological influence can influence people, especially older people. Sedentary lifestyles and lack of sleep also contribute ot weight gain and obesity.

-substitute whole grains for refined grains

-cook at home more
