On the third day of forensics week, the retired crash officer came in and talked about his individual experiences on the job while we asked him questions. He shared with us stories of the hardest and most gory cases he has witnessed. He shared an experience where it was a hit-and-run situation where the driver chipped the person and knocked him down, not enough to kill him. the driver behind him decapitated him with his grill and many cars behind him had run over and dismembered his body. The at-fault driver was extremely hard to find but left behind a mirror that could be traced to the exact car. This was considered the easiest of it, finding the driver was the challenge. The owner of the car lent her car to her daughter for a weekend, who gave it to a weed hookup. that person drove her car all the way to daphne to get weed and freaked out and ran when they hit the person. He shared many of his thoughts and experiences throughout the lecture.
