2/4, veins and lungs

Today some girls from university of mobile came into to teach us about how to draw blood and how to identify different lung sounds. The first hands on activity I participated in was drawing blood from a dummy arm. She taught us where to find the veins, how to insert the needle, and how to know you're doing it correctly.

The second hands on activity were us identifying and listening to the sounds of the lungs. On the dummy mannequin we used a stethoscope to listen to different heart and lung sounds. We were able to listen to asthmatic breathing, stalling, normal lungs, and strider lungs.
